Gallery of Contemporary Art "Triumph"

We have been working with contemporary artistic practices in Russia and in an international context since 2006.

About the Triumph Gallery

Triumph Gallery was founded in 2006 by Dmitry Khankin and Emelyan Zakharov. The gallery was the first in Russia to present exhibitions by world-renowned artists such as Damien Hirst and the Chapman Brothers, and today represents more
40 contemporary Russian and international artists of different generations, including AES+F, Alexander Brodsky, Alexander Vinogradov and Vladimir Dubossarsky, Recycle Group, Dmitry Gutov, Sergey Filatov, Anatoly Akue, and many others.

In the 2010s, the gallery organized a number of projects aimed at supporting emerging art:

Launchpad, "Great Expectations," "Young Lions," and "Fathers and Sons." In 2013, Triumph opened a non-profit division, Research Arts, which developed projects at the intersection of social sciences and visual art. For several years, Triumph Gallery presented projects at the Venice Biennale of Contemporary Art.
In 2015, the gallery’s co-founder Dmitry Khankin was nominated for The Art Newspaper Russia Award in the "Personal Contribution" category. Today, Triumph Gallery operates as a hybrid institution, combining exhibition, commercial, and educational activities.

The gallery is known for its intensive and diverse exhibition program, initiating numerous shows at its own venue as well as large-scale projects in museums and institutions in Russia and abroad. The gallery also hosts events as part of its educational program, including lectures, guided tours, and discussions. Each gallery project is accompanied by a published catalogue.
