Charlie comments on the content of his work as follows: "We are in the depths of late capitalism. In the era of excessive consumerism and the cult of everything disposable, I see only endless nights, all kinds of addictions and perversions. But I do not remain a passive observer, rather, I am a reflective accomplice, located in a border zone where the fragmented world of decline intersects with the world of desperate desire for satisfaction— between the world of addiction and the world of consumption. I see the animal nature of man, and this sets the boundaries of modern human life. We are just tourists in this life. And we often overlook the bits that are actually real."
