Landscapes in Action

Andrey Berger
January 24 — February 16, 2025
Gallery "Triumph"
The exhibition "Landscapes in Action" reflects this aspiration, exploring how our perception of the environment is shaped by social and cultural conditions.
Triumph Gallery presents a solo exhibition by Andrey Berger titled "Landscapes in Action." The project features a new series of painted panels and lightboxes.

"In a world where change occurs at an incredible pace, I turn my attention to the landscape—as a non-physical space permeated with meanings and context," the artist explains. The exhibition "Landscapes in Action" reflects this approach, exploring how our perception of the environment is shaped by social and cultural conditions.

As abstract tools, maps can influence our understanding of reality. A map is an abstraction of a specific reality, created and motivated by practical considerations, yet capable of shaping how we perceive that reality. By mapping the surrounding space, we construct our own routes within it and strengthen the connection between place and experience. In this way, the landscape becomes part of our identity, while the map can be understood as a form of visualizing internal processes and experiences.
