Pavel Kiselev (born 1984, Moscow) graduated from the Institute of Contemporary Art and the British Higher School of Art and Design with a degree in Fine Art. At the moment, the artist has participated in a number of group projects of young art, and has also been awarded a Strabag ArtAward nomination. At the first solo exhibition "Random Dialogues" Pavel Kiselev will present works made in an original technique: abstract sculpture objects created from numerous wooden parts.
Pavel Kiselev works with various volumes, shapes and textures, modeling an infinite multiplicity of points of view and interpretations. In large-scale spatial sculpture objects, he combines many monochrome details at different levels into a single canvas. When creating his works, the artist is inspired by the color symbols that are used in everyday life: the colors of flags, stable combinations of tones in advertising and the media.

Pavel Kiselev: "The abstract expression was not chosen by chance, it is connected with the idea of information saturation, when meanings, layered on top of each other, create a field of multiple interpretations. Interacting with an object, the viewer analyzes it at different levels depending on their background. The absence of direct references opens up the opportunity for him to become a co-author, and volume becomes an interactive element: by changing the point of view, the viewer discovers new sides of the work, which makes it possible to expand the boundaries of perception."
